I am afraid that "burying one's head in the sand" as the "leadership" has done, has reduced the Church in England to a rapidly diminishing part-player in ordinery peoples daily life. The local Cathilic Church English Martyrs Wallasey-has closed, only an embittered battle by parishoners kept St Peter and St Pauls New Brighton Wirral open- and lack of 21st Century knowledge by the "elders" see a paucity of attendance by 18++ Indicative of all faiths I suppose) On a positive note, enjoyed surfing the Churches website..and is it true you or Father Declan bless Willie Mullin's horses before they race at their chosen engagements???
